Alison Ann Sweeney is an American actor, reality host writer and director. Sweeney is most well-known as the character Samantha Sami Brady from the NBC soap Opera Days of Our Lives. She played the role under a contract between January 6, 1993 and October 30 the year 2014. Sweeney was finally able to play her character in 1999. The fads she was following no longer included grapefruit, cabbage and a variety of other diets.
